National Nutrition Month

National Nutrition Month is here! March is a great time to revamp our eating habits with Spring right around the corner.
A few healthy eating tips:

  • Cut down on added sugars and salt
  • Choose fresh veggies and fruit in season for optimal taste
  • Prepare food at home to reduce processed ingredients
  • Make half your plate using whole grains such as brown rice, wheat pasta, and whole grain bread for added fiber

Healthy Yogurt Parfait Recipe:

  • 1 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup chopped fresh fruit berries
  • 2 Tbsp low fat granola
